The UCADIAN Articles of War do not seek to glorify war as some "noble art", nor do they seek to make judgment over the morality of war. The purpose of the Articles of War is to make clear the nature of war and that rules exist concerning its conduct and successful outcome. |

The rationality of the Articles of War are simple- so long as men and women are prepared to wage war there will be war. But war fought with ignorance as to its prosecution is unthinking violence- doomed to result in greater losses and death. This in itself is an assumption. Whether this be true, only time will tell. |
